Scripting is one of my favorite parts of the video production process. There is something wonderful about putting your ideas down and then changing and rearranging them as the creative juices start to flow. I’ve found the two column format to be really helpful for writing and for sharing with clients. This video provides an overview of how to create and use a two-column script template. Spoiler alert: I actually add a third column late in the process that helps immensely when working through comments and changes.

Early in the pandemic, I created this video to convey some simple tips for looking better on video calls. It was my first attempt at putting myself on camera, so of course I can see things I’d do differently if I were recording this again, but I think the advice holds up. Kudos to my co-worker for making me look slightly crazy in the thumbnail image.
